The program assists in strengthening the local labor market and focus on economic development in the smallest province in Canada, PEI.
The PEI PNP gives the opportunity for the newcomers the chance to receive a provincial nomination through any of its immigration streams and fast track the path to Canadian PR.
This category is for immigrants who have express their interest in living and working in PEI while applying for application in the federal Express Entry pool. Skilled workers in PEI : This stream is for eligible skilled workers working in PEI who have received a job offer from a PEI employer.
Skilled workers outside Canada : This stream is for eligible skilled workers outside Canada who have received a job offer from a PEI employer.
Critical workers : This stream is meant for foreigners that are already offered a job position and working in Prince Edward Island. Applicants must have a work permit to be able to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
International graduate stream : This stream allows PEI employers to select graduate foreigners from recognized and accredited PEI universities and colleges. Applicants must be within the age range of 21 and 55. A valid post-graduate work permit is required with sufficient fluency in English or French language.
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program takes almost 2-5 weeks to complete the processing. And the Canadian Federal government takes up to 6-8 months to complete the processing.
